Those who can fundraise and donate:
Do you enjoy all kinds of volunteer work?---- you know the kind you DON'T get paid for..... Do you like to organize things?...... like PTO or PTA meetings or some other kind of event at your child's school or with their homeschool group? Are you able to commit and follow through even when it gets a little complicated? Can you make phone calls to professionals to ask for donations? Can you add and subtract? Do you have a sincere desire to make a real difference in the life of an orphan? If you can do these things YOU could host an orphan from the Ukraine. Those who are hospitable:
Do you enjoy having people over (with out complaining- 1Peter 4:9)? Do you like to cook or gather necessities to take to those in need? Do you mind changing your schedule to accommodate the needs of others? Can you make a place for a child to sleep? Do you mind washing others clothes? Do you have leftovers a most of your meals that would be enough to feed one small child? If you do YOU could host an orphan for the Ukraine!
Those who share God's love:
Can you give hugs and kisses? Can you read God's word aloud? Do you know the words to "Jesus Loves Me"? Are you consistent with rules? Can you correct bad behavior with a gentle but firm hand? Do you enjoy bringing others to worship services? Have you ever taught a children's Bible class and had fun doing it? If you can do these then YOU can host an orphan!
Those who can pray without ceasing:
Are you dependent upon God? Do you pray often, no matter what is going on in your life, good or bad? Have you been praying for others well being? Are you confident that prayer works? Can you "let go and let God? Are you willing to accept God's answer to your prayer even when its "no"? If you do, then maybe YOU could host an orphan!
Those who can adopt and become the "forever family":
Do you love children unconditionally? Can you learn to be more patient? Do you want more children? Are you able to fundraise? share God's love? Pray without ceasing? If you can then YOU could host an orphan from the Ukraine!
